Investor Club Association (IC) under the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) had a visit to Duy Tan Long An Plastic Factory on March 24.
According to Duy Tan's representative, the visit was considered as a good opportunity for the two sides to update their knowledge of production processes, machinery, materials... in the plastic manufacturing industry. In particular, this visit also included members of Thailand SCG Group.

During the meeting, the IC association had the opportunity to visit the factory, PET workshop, press factory, finished product warehouse and product showroom in Long An to learn more about the process from preparation to production and finished product.
Experts from corporations also had a meeting with Duy Tan's board of directors to share the economic and investment situation in Vietnam, Thailand and the world in general, and exchange information on investment privileges between Thailand and Vietnam. Topics such as: applying knowledge and information to improve IC and BOI services; establishing a network with relevant organizations in Vietnam; Researching and monitoring innovation, new technology... were also discussed at the event.

Duy Tan Long An is the largest factory of Duy Tan Plastics with an area of 181,000 m2. Towards green and environmentally friendly manufacture, in 2020 the factory has put into operation the solar power system, in order to replace the grid power source to serve the manufacture process, and at the same time release the full capacity of power source projects to be invested in the coming time to ensure safe and continuous power supply.
By 2023, Duy Tan Plastics has undergone 36 years of establishment and development, won the title of High Quality Vietnamese Goods voted by consumers for 27 consecutive years and many awards and certifications for sustainable development such as ISCC Plus. With the vision to become the leading plastic manufacturer in ASEAN, in 2021, Duy Tan signed a strategic cooperation agreement, merging 70% with SCGP - a subsidiary of Thailand's SCG Group.
In addition to creation and innovation to bring to the market quality products in terms of features and aesthetics, the unit simultaneously develops, expands and builds relationships, learns from foreign experts, updates new technology to improve the production process better and better, ensure the supply as well as create a modern, environmentally friendly manufacture process.
