Low-density polyethylene, or LDPE, is represented by the triangle symbol and the number 4 inside. Chemically inert LDPE resin should be used to make chemical bottles, plastic gloves, and shopping bags, cakes, and frozen food boxes, among other things.

Note: Please keep in mind that these plastic products should not be microwaved because they melt easily.
