The project in Tan Do industrial park, Long An province has contributed to creating a clean energy source while reducing emissions by nearly 9,000 tons of CO2 per year, and saving at least nearly 13 million kWh per year for the system's power sources.
In recent years, solar power has developed strongly in Vietnam, significantly contributing to ensure energy security and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. According to data from EVN, the total installed capacity of renewable energy source as of October 31, 2021 reached 20,644 MW. In which, solar energy accounts for 22.57% of the total power capacity.
In order to provide solutions to overcome, stabilize and help investors have plans and strategies when investing in solar power projects, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Business Forum Magazine has organized the "Mechanism to attract investment and developing sustainably renewable energy in Vietnam" forum with the participation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Scientific Advisory Council, and leading experts in the field of renewable energy.
Also within the framework of the program, the Duy Tan rooftop solar power project invested and implemented by TTC Energy Joint Stock Company (TTC Energy) was honored to be in the Top "Typical Renewable Energy Project in 2021". This project is implemented in Tan Do industrial park, Long An province with a total capacity of 9,932.4 kWp, promising to contribute to reducing emissions of nearly 9,000 tons of CO2 per year, and saving at least nearly 13 million kWh per year for the system's power sources.
The Duy Tan rooftop solar power project aims at three main goals: creating clean energy sources, saving energy and reducing costs - production costs. This environmentally friendly energy source is expected to make a great contribution to the sustainable development of Duy Tan as well as to the socio-economic development.
