On December 25, 2025, Duy Tan successfully held the Final Round and Award Ceremony of the “ESG in Operational Excellence” competition after nearly four months since its launch. The competition is a key initiative aimed at fostering innovation and spreading sustainable development thinking throughout the entire system.
This year’s competition attracted 23 teams from Duy Tan Group, accompanied by a series of parallel activities throughout the journey from the initial launch. After nearly four months, the Organizing Committee selected 15 outstanding teams from various departments and units to compete in the Final Round.
The teams presented numerous practical ideas and initiatives aligned with the Environmental – Social – Governance (ESG) pillars, closely connected to Duy Tan’s manufacturing operations, operations management, and supply chain. Project topics focused on key areas such as reducing energy consumption, reducing fuel usage, increasing PCR content or reducing product weight, minimizing scrap, and improving processes.
Following a fair and professional evaluation by the Jury, eight outstanding teams were honored across different award categories. Notably, the First Prize – “Comprehensive ESG Impact” was awarded to the project “Smart Energy Management System (SEMS)” by SEMS Team – Electrical Engineering, with the top prize being a study and experiential trip to Thailand.

According to the team, SEMS enables Duy Tan to monitor and optimize energy consumption in real time, reducing waste and improving operational efficiency. The project is estimated to deliver annual cost savings of VND 740–936 million and reduce more than 250 tons of CO₂ per year, contributing to green manufacturing and sustainable development goals. In addition, SEMS establishes a foundation for digital transformation, enhances workforce capabilities, and strengthens transparency in energy governance, with strong potential for replication across the entire Duy Tan system.

The Jury highly appreciated the teams’ creative spirit, strong practical applicability, and increasingly mature ESG mindset. Many projects were recognized for their clear effectiveness, high feasibility, and positive, long-term ESG impact, while also contributing to the spread of ESG culture across the company.
